Since the day we opened our doors in April 2013, Spare Time Texas (originally Spare Time Fun Center) has been Temple’s go-to location for fun and relaxation. We pride ourselves on offering a space where Temple residents can unwind with their family and friends. Our Temple location features 24 lanes of modern bowling, a 2-story laser tag arena, plus a game room packed with over 50 arcade games and our Winner's Corner prize store. Shakers, our full-service restaurant and bar, has many amazing selections. From Texas-crafted distilled spirits to causal American appetizers and entrées, you’ll be sure to come back for more.
Built with private events in mind, we’re equipped with an event space featuring 6 party rooms that can be turned into a large banquet hall, and a private 8-lane bowling area that we call The Pin House. Whether you are hosting a birthday party, family reunion, or a corporate event, we have the space and amenities to make your event fun and comfortable for everyone.
We had so much fun with our original facility that we decided to expand. In 2021, we officially opened Shaker’s Backyard, which features a go-kart track, 8 batting cages, 2 sand volleyball courts, a multi-level Sky Trail® Ropes Course, and a single-level Sky Tykes® Ropes course for our younger guests.
